Current Staff

In addition to being a wonderful place for children, Frog Pond is also a great place to work. Our staff is made up of individuals representing a variety of cultures and ethnicities. The teacher/administrative retention rate at Frog Pond is very high, as we celebrate a diverse, safe, and nurturing place to grow as a teacher and childcare professional.

Tadpole Class

Hello everyone, I’m Anushuya. I have been a teacher for tadpoles at the Frog Pond Early Learning Center for 6 years. When I was a child, I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. I decided to teach young children because I love their innocent faces, smiles, hugs, and talking with them! My family has been my biggest influence in life. My teaching style is to provide a safe, nurturing, and FUN environment. I promote physical, social, cognitive, and creative development to children. I encourage families to participate in our many celebrations and join our learning and FUN! I am really proud of the teamwork and understanding we have for each other.

Hi, I'm Maxwell and I'm thrilled to return as a preschool teacher at Frog Pond for my second year. I'm an energetic and outgoing person who loves to make children laugh. I often find myself being silly and falling over my words just to see a smile on their faces. I'm a huge sports fan, especially basketball, and have been playing basketball since 3rd grade. In addition to basketball, I've played many other sports such as lacrosse in college and football in High School. I'm excited to meet all the kids and parents again and see how much the children grow in the next year!

My name is Awatif Elhaje. I've been working at Frog Pond for 20 years. This month marks my 20th year. I thank Mrs. Pam for giving me this opportunity. I have learned a lot working with the children, nature, and philosophy of the Frog Pond Early Learning Center. The school is nature-based, and I enjoy working with the children outdoors. Frog Pond is like my second home away from home.
