Physical Examination
Each child is required to have a physical examination by or under the direction of a physician before enrollment or within one month after the first day of attendance. If the child has had a physical exam prior to attendance, it must meet the following requirements:
For children under 18 months, within three months prior to attendance.
For children aged 19 months through 24 months, within six months prior to attendance
For children two through five years of age, within 12 months prior to attendance.
We must have on file documentation of all age-appropriate immunizations before a child begins at the school. Without appropriate documentation, children without documentation of immunization will not be permitted to attend in accordance with regulations of the State Board of Health.
Withdrawal
Families are asked to give a minimum of 90 days’ notice before withdrawal. Families may be asked to immediately remove a child from the program in the event of excessive discipline problems or danger to other children or animals. The center retains the right to remove any child from enrollment and will attempt to give at least two weeks’ notice. Additional information is available in the Family Handbook or upon request.
