Current Staff
In addition to being an wonderful place for children, Frog Pond is also a great place to work. Our staff is made up of individuals representing a variety of cultures and ethnicities.
Our staff includes:
- Gail, our Director of School Family
- Janel, our Office Manager, who ensures the efficient and effective operation of the office and administrative functions. She also serves as a float teacher as needed.
- Diana, our Lead Frog Teacher designs and implements the curriculum for the older mixed-aged group of children and is supported by an associate and several assistant teachers.
- Heather, our Lead Tadpole Teacher designs and implements the tadpole curriculum and is supported by an associate and several assistant teachers.
- “Science Sarah” is the specialist for science and nature curriculum. She incorporates seasonal changes into the topics of study. She enriches the science and nature curriculum as she accompanies the classes in walks in Huntley Meadows Park; trips to the farmer’s market; and daily chores of feeding the farm animals, collecting eggs, etc.
