Tadpole Tuesdays: Going to Outer Space

This morning, the Tadpoles decorated envelopes with glitter and different
stickers for the Winter Solstice Party! They were very excited to do this.
In the media table, the children played with water and containers.

In the front room, the Tadpoles used their fine motor skills to put together
comb blocks. Some also played with the pretend food and with babies in
strollers, while others played with the dress-up clothes. In the back room,
the Tadpoles threw around soft balls and some also played on the see-saw. In
the portable media table, they really enjoyed touching and trying to pop
bubble wrap.

Outside, the Tadpoles pretended to go to outer space in a rocket ship. We
talked about how they might see planets, the moon and stars if they were to
fly into space. The children enjoyed climbing around the slides and playing
on the see-saw. Some Tadpoles also swung on the swings.

At Toad Mountain, the jumpers had fun going up and down the mountain. Some
jumpers also swung on the swings. During this time, the swimmers played in
the sand area. Some swimmers also played a chasing game and splashed in the
puddles. Some also played with toy trucks.

It was a great day at Frog Pond!
