Tadpole Tuesdays: Muddy Puddles

This morning at the art table, the Tadpoles played with play dough and added
different colors to the dough. They pretended to make cakes and pizza and
enjoyed rolling and mashing the play dough. Some children also colored and
talked about plant roots with the teachers.

In the front room, the Tadpoles used their fine motor skills to play with
bead mazes. Some children also played with the animal masks and tails. In
the back room, the Tadpoles enjoyed playing with tulle in the small media
table. They also played with soft balls and talked about different colors
with Ms. Linda. Some children also played in the tent.

Today, one group of Tadpoles went to Huntley Meadows with Science Sarah and
Ms. Linda. They pretended to be animals and talked about leaves falling to
the ground. They also visited the new frog and salamander pond and watched
squirrels.

In the Tadpoles yard, the children played around in the wagon and toy cars.
Some children also played on the swings and enjoyed stomping in the muddy
puddles.

At Toad Mountain, the jumpers played hide and seek at the mountain and some
played it in the meadow. They also enjoyed going on the swings. Some of the
swimmers went to the goat yard to pet the goats. Others, played in the
outdoor houses and on the swings.

It was a great day at Frog Pond.

Sincerely,
Ms. Yelena
