This morning, the Tadpoles used shredded paper and glue to create a large
collage. In the front room, they used their fine motor skills to put
together legos and puzzles. Some children also played with farm animals.
In the back room, the Tadpoles pushed around cars and buses and played on
the rocking dog. Some children also read books in a circle with the
Outside, the Tadpoles rode around in toy cars and on the bikes. Some
children also played in the sandbox and swung on the swings. A few
Tadpoles went to visit the goats in the goat yard with Ms. Diana. Some of
the Tadpoles also held hands around the large tree trunk to see how many
kids it would take to go around the tree! Others, climbed on the monkey
bars and ran around the yard.
At Toad Mountain, some of the jumpers did an obstacle course with Mr. Mark
and the frogs. They tried to hop over logs. Some jumpers colored in the
outdoor classroom and others played chasing games. When we got back to the
Tadpole yard, some of the jumpers also played a game of hide and seek with
Ms. Yelena. The swimmers, made a cake in the sandbox. They also played
ring around the Rosie, a chasing game and hide and seek with Ms. Subohi.
It was a great day at Frog Pond.
