Tadpole Tuesdays: Rainy Day

This morning, the Tadpoles put together tape and paper at the art table
with Ms. Awatif. In the front room, they used their fine motor skills to
put together legos. Some children played with little cars and in the
kitchen area. Some Tadpoles also read books, including the Ladybug book
with Ms. Subohi. Others, played pretend by pretending to be animals and
also played dress-up.

In the back room, the children played with dollhouses and beads. Some
children played with cars and trucks and soft balls. They also enjoyed
dancing and hopping around.

Outside, some of the Tadpoles ran in the rain and played a chasing game.
They also pretended to cook in the sandbox area with Ms. Subohi.

Some of the class went to Huntley Meadows with Science Sarah and Ms.
Selena. They observed the long trees and their branches and even felt a
wet tree. They looked for frogs but did not see any today. They did see a
bird feeder and went inside the center. Inside they saw pictures of birds.

At Toad Mountain, the jumpers climbed around the monkey bars and made art
in the art center. Some jumpers ran around in the rain and played in the
sand and on the swings. During this time, some of the swimmers went to
visit the goats. They also played on the swing and in the sand and some
children drove around the big cars.

It was a great day at Frog Pond.

Sincerely,
Ms. Yelena
