Thanks to the April rains, the garden that was created last fall near the entrance of Frog Pond is exploding into a beautiful bounty. Stones that represent community members who have contributed to Frog Pond’s success create a path that connects the different sections of the garden. Branches, twigs, stones and sculptures accent the plants that are emerging and will soon fill the garden. Stop by some time, take a seat on the bench and enjoy the view and the aromas that arise before you.
From the garden, students will pick peppermint, spearmint, lemon balm, parsley, and basil along with many other herbs that they will use to prepare tasty treats in the coming weeks and months.
